Bleh...I have no one to distract my family from me. I'm like you, too--I want education and a fun career, not kids. I don't think I EVER want kids, to be truthful...if I ever wanted them, I'd probably adopt any way O.o

Hey... Just curious which part of the room you'd prefer. I'm mentally setting up my part of the room.

At least you have a brother somewhere near your age to bear grandchildren. My mom's been trying to convince me to have a baby. She says "Oh, it would be ok if you ever got pregnant. In fact you should. You could go away to college, and I could keep the baby for you." This scares me. I want to keep all watermelon-sized things out of my you-know-what for as long as possible. My career is more important to me. My mom doesn't get this because when she was younger women got married right after highschool. She quit college for my dad.

I'm glad that I'm not like that. And glad that you aren't either!

PS. Do you rollerblade?

I don't own rollerblades, but I do have my thrift-shop-fabulous roller skates. If you're looking for a skating companion, I'd be happy to join you on the ghettoskates :D

Also, if you haven't got your heart set on it, I'd really like the far corner on the wall opposite the door.

I think Roger told me you rollerbladed, so I thought I'd ask. Ghetto skates are great (my first rollerblades, which I had until I was twelve, were Barbie rollerblades!), and I wouldn't mind having someone to skate with. I was just wondering if I should even bring my rollerblades, because last year I didn't use them much. There wasn't anyone to skate with.... :(

Far corner on the right opposite the door... does that mean in the general area that Sarah was last year? I'll be happy wherever I am... I think you should have whatever space you wish as a function of seniority... I only request that I am somewhere where I can bunk my bed above my desk, so I can try to create a little study nook with a curtain for those times when there is an abundence of people about our room.

Yeah, that would be around where Sarah was, although I'm certainly flexible on that. I think Maureen wants to keep her things in the same general area that she did last year, but I know we'll have a day or two to work things out, and you'll definitely be able to bunk your bed above your desk.

SOOOOOOOZE!!
Glad to hear the Jazzercise has pais off. Oh, and I think your parents are gonna be totally fine if you don't have kids in the near future or ever. Remember, they think you are "Artistic." anyway. I figure that they will prolly end up being adoptive grandparents to my future kids. I mean seriously, do you think they would let me keep them away? They are practically my parents too.
Oh, School has already been kicking my ass and I think you need to see the apartment. Anna and I have made it beautiful.

You've inspired me to stick with my exercise routine, Susan. It's hard for me to get started when I've been out of the habit, but I'm going to be running twenty minutes to an hour, pretty much every day from now on. By the end of the year, I should be slender and toned, but still the cuddly teddy bear that everyone loves. Or some such thing. ;) Looking forward to seeing you at school! *hugs*
