Writing Rant
I don't know where I'm going with this story that's due Friday. Well, I know where I want to go with it, but that will be much longer than the two-and-a-half pages I've got, so I need to invent a pseudo-ending for this shorter version. Which means I probably can't kill of the love interest/stalkee without it being really abrupt, especially seeing as there is a very abrupt murder earlier in this story. That needs remedied too. Crap. Maybe I can make that the climax and leave the larger plot for the non-school-assignment version.
I don't think I'm cut out as a short story writer. I'd keep popping out novellas and trying to convince publishers that they could be made magazine length with small fonts and margins. :~P
