Fairy Tales
I decided what I'm going to do for my honors project in fiction writing. I'm going to take a fairy tale and retell it in as many different ways as possible, experimenting with various writing styles. I'm going to do a modernization for sure, and I'll attempt a micronarrative, and maybe poetry. I'm playing around with a bunch of other ideas as well.
I can't begin on this project until I have a fairy tale, though. So I ask you, friendslist, what fairy tale should I choose? Do you have any favorites? If you're feeling really creative, feel free to suggest the writing styles I should try as well.
