I never thought it was possible to be more bored out of your mind?!??! Honestly! This is torture! I'm definitely going job hunting tomorrow! I can't stand another day in this house... and it's only been ONE!!! I'm really glad I got away this weekend or I don't know what I would have done by now. I miss having someone next door to bug whenever I'm bored, and I even miss caf food! *gasp* I know! I don't like making food for myself as much as I used to, and there's less variety. Who the heck am I going to watch One Tree Hill with tonight? and Who's going to yell at me tomorrow when I don't flip directly over to the OC because the Flyers game is on?
Anyways... my weekend:
Friday: Long drive out to visit Kern. Met her friends in her dorm. It was weird at first... being there made me want to be back at school even more than sitting at home. Girls... cherish these last days at school. You may hate all the "end of the year" work, but you'll be begging to be back in a dorm sooner than you know it. Her friends were great though... and quite entertaining! I got to see her rugby game on Saturday! I got sooooo burnt, but it looked like a really fun game and I might be playing this summer! I'm excited about that! It was a really fun weekend, and I got to go clubbing at her underground club, which was sooo much fun. I was definitely exhausted by the end of saturday night... well more like really early on sunday!
Sunday I got to see shawna!!! Her mom made such a good dinner and banana bread for dessert! Yummy! Then we had a crisis when we realized the show started at 7pm instead of 7:30 and we were atleast ten minutes away at five of seven. Shawna was driving like a little Mario! We made it in time because we forgot that there were going to be opening acts and such. Kevin James was hillarious. He reused some of his stuff from the tape that shawna made me watch a million and a half times at school, but he modified them a bit and added new stuff in so I was still practically rolling on the floor. I went out to dessert with her friends from school after that. It was nice but a little weird at the same time, but that can be expected I guess. I guess I got both aspects of college life this weekend. I was the friend from childhood that met the college friends and the college friend meeting the friends from childhood. In both situations it was a little awkward at first, but I was realizing that this is going to be part of the whole process of intgrating my whole past with my new college life and friends. It's going to take time, but there's no way I'm giving up either end of my life anytime soon, so it's just going to have to work. Guess I should get back to more unpacking... yay! :/
