Few and Far Between
So I seem to never update anymore. I'm on most days to check up on the friendlies but rarely do I feel any need to update for myself. Things are going just fine, maybe that's why I don't update. My life has become routine for the most part and completely stable. I suppose that doesn't lend itself to ridiculous stories for ya'all.
I've joined a couple book clubs (like minded ladies in the Portland area, not middle-aged women from Ridgefield), and am thinking about volunteering at In Other Words, which is an amazing non-profit book store supporting women and queer issues. I had a chill birthday with close friends and brother. Work is going just fine, my coworkers are awesome.
My grandparents are taking their huge RV to Arizona for a couple months and asked me to house-sit. So that means I'm living in their house for the 2-3 months rent free and saving money for moving after that.
Colin and I are moving into our own place together after I'm done doing the house-sitting gig. We went home shopping and have gotten matching coffee and side tables and a bookcase from IKEA, new bed stuff, and tons of kitchen things. We bought plain black and white dish sets and I'm stenciling some awesome designs onto all the pieces to spice them up. Our kitchen will be black and white (ha, it's just the easiest), and our bedroom is going to be all warm and cozy feeling with lots of brown tones and India-inspired decor. We haven't figured out our bathroom quite yet and need a couch and chair for the living room but beside that we're getting all our stuff together while we can just tuck away a bunch of money.
So, what else... I'm thinking about going vegetarian again, I've been reading tons, hanging out with some new people, getting a pair of glasses (finally!), and hmm, Lindsey's b-day is this weekend.
