Finally, Closure On My Heritage
I am Hungarian and ever so proud of it so when I found out that there was a whole community that thrives in D/FW I was overjoyed. Further there is a Mass that is taking place on the 26th of this month in honor of the Anniversary of the 1956 revolt in Hungary. From what I am told, my Great Aunt Helen was a supporter and part of the revolt.
I am hoping to become better acquainted with other Hungarians and learn more about my heritage. Being 2nd generation American born makes me feel as if I am more of a part of the culture than if my family had been here for 100 years or so.
