Huh

Still feeling nauseous after last night's yoga class. We did all sorts of back bends for half the class. Barb said I felt that way because I was "moving" some stuff, but I think it had more to do with the fact that I ate tomatoes and rice as I was running out the door to go to class. I also drank a small glass of soda as I was running out the door. It's not a habit of mine to drink soda, nor do I like to eat my food so fast I can't enjoy it. So the inhaling of the food, coupled with the backbends was NOT one of my better ideas. With the cast iron doors around my heart, I would say that all the chest openers probably DID move something within me, I think the nausea was still very likely the food. But I still feel nauseous this morning. :-( I think today's going to be one of those semi-fast, bland food days. I've actually wanted to do that all week, but then Adam brought home cranberry pecan bread.

I finished my herbology class yesterday. So excited about that. Today I have some jewelry things to take care of, then I need to dive head first into chemistry.

Last night on the way home from yoga I caught the very end of Terri Gross' interview with Rivers Cuomo on Fresh Air. As years go by, I've really learned to appreciate Weezer.  They used to really get on my nerves. As it turns out, he's been doing this project on You Tube where he's writing a song with strangers on the internet. At each stage, he'll put out a request for a hook, a melody, a lyric, a chorus, and people will submit something. He's been listening to all of the submissions and chooses its favorite. The song is nearly completed and may find it's way onto a Weezer album if the rest of the band likes it. Either way, I'm sure it will be on a solo album of his or somewhere if it doesn't make it to a Weezer album. He said it just may go down in history for the song with the most songwriting credits. LOL! I heard a piece of it and it sounds very Weezer-y. Interesting. I love to hear fun stories about collaboration.

Guess it's time to get started on eliminating things from my to-do list. It's still early. I can get a big chunk accomplished if I stay focused!
