A cold, rainy and wet Dunedin evening. Still, Christopher is here with me and with middle son, so that is a great positive point.
A roast chicken is, well, roasting in the oven.
We are listening to Talking Heads "Stop Making Sense". Music from my time tree-planting in Canada.
The fire is going and doing well.
The first day of the week is over, and I am away on Thursday.
My middle son gave too many rice krispies to Christopher, but he has been chomping them down, and playing with them, and eating more.
Because of the spread of food by the little fellow, I vacuum cleaned the floor.
He will soon get some baked beans, and then share some chicken with us.
I just realised that the food is shared with two and a half men. It could be a comedy or a lovely study of modern day relationships, but if Hollywood get hold of it some idiot actor will make into something only imbeciles can understand.
Oh, the Spanish football kicked off for the season, and Barcelona FC kicked off with a 5-1 victory over Real Sociedad.
On the negative side, Christopher has some kind of contagious rash, called something like foot and mouth (but obviously not). He has to be off kindergarten all week. Which is tricky, because I am already off on Thursday with a school activity to Wellington.
In my opinion, and this probably seems old-fashioned, a husband and wife with a child should be a team working together. I won't say anymore, because it is an old-fashioned view.
