Wow, I slept in till the alarm rang at 06.15 this morning. My goodness, it has been a long time since I have done that. I guess I am feeling more confident and relaxed about things.
I just picked up that a New Zealand shot putter, Valerie Adams, (half Tongan but like many NZers, which is very much a country of immigrants, 100% Kiwi) was awarded the gold because the Belarussian who won tested positive for anabolic steroids.
Tuesday is a good day, always; only 5/7 classes, which gives me time to get things done. The rain continues and I am sure the football tomorrow will be cancelled as the pitches across Dunedin will be waterlogged.
This afternoon I can pick up Christopher and I have my third 24hour session with him. Well, not really because I have to leave him at the kindergarten, but a sleepover.
I hope my middle son is doing well at the snow caving. With the cold and miserable weather we have here I am concerned that he will be cold up at the Wanaka snow fields. He returns tomorrow evening.
