Popcorn



Seriously guys, this thing is so frakkingly totally awesome that I have no words.

I don't like microwave popcorn tho, since it's always coated in fat.

The best thing is to take a bag of kernels, put some oil in a saucepan and pour in enough kernels to coat the bottom of the saucepan. If you turn up the heat, before you coat the bottom with oil, you have to wait less than if you turn up the heat when you've put the kernels in. Then, when you hear that there's a couple of seconds between poppings, you take a hold of the lid and shake the pot, so unpopped kernels can move to the bottom and be popped - it is HIGHLY annoying when half of your bowl is just unpopped kernels.
Just before the popping stops, you pour the popped corn into a bowl (if you leave it too long, it will burn). Pour some salt over the popcorn, shaking the bowl as you pour so the salt can get to all the popped corn. Then grab something to drink (don't think milk goes too well with popcorn), sit down in front of a movie or a TV show and enjoy!
