To pull up one's kimono to reveal buttocks is a Japanese idiom that translates to maintaining a defiant attitude. Obviously.
The Italian version of 'curiosity killed the cat' is 'the cat goes to the lard so much that she loses her paw'.
Not only will this little book help me with my Japanese studies, learning all the various idioms, but it's going to make my everyday language very interesting. XD

ABC has passed on the American version of No Heroics.
NTV will air a MW prologue special on June 30th; the movie will be released on July 4th. The SP will star Sato Takeru & feature Tamaki Hiroshi reprising his character from the movie.
TBS is adapting Teoi into a summer drama, with Tsukamoto Takashi as the main character who becomes a host to challenge the man who stole his girlfiend. It starts July 15th.
