Okay, here's the English/American stuff. :D

HBO has picked up Treme, a series set in New Orleans & from the creator of The Wire.

Three more Doctor Who serials are being released on R1 DVD on September 1st: #88 The Deadly Assassin, #94 Image of the Fendahl, & #150 Delta & the Bannerman. You can see the box art for all three titles here.

Torchwood will return in July, with 'Children of Earth' airing simultaneously on BBC1 & BBC America.

ABC has ordered 13 episodes of Modern Family for this fall; it's a mockumentary look at various 'modern families' and the cast includes Ed O'Neill & Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The decision was expected, but yay -- Flash Forward has been officially picked up -- for 13 episodes.

You can find out all the details about Flash Forward & watch the promo that aired during the LOST finale here @ SCI FI Wire.

Steve Coogan & Rosario Dawson have joined the cast of Percy Jackson; he's Hades, she's Persephone.

Joss Stone will return for the final season of The Tudors.

CBS Films is adapting Station, the sci-fi comic book series, into a movie.

The 4.5 DVD release of Battlestar Galactica will be released on July 28th; extras include 3 extended episodes, deleted scenes, featurettes & commentary tracks. I really like the box art -- especially the top right corner. :P

SCI FI Wire talked to some of the stars of BSG: The Plan: Grace Park, Kate Vernon, & Michael Trucco. They all share a little something about their character & the Plan itself, but there is a lot of overlap in the three articles.

Alessandra Torresani talked to SCI FI Wire about playing Zoe in Caprica; I'll warn for spoilers for the pilot, as I know I'm probably not the only one who hasn't seen it yet. :P

FOX will be airing the two-hour Virtuality pilot on July 4th; the chances of it getting picked as a series are slim to none, but I'm just relieved that we'll get to see the pilot after all!

Robin Dunne talked to SCI FI Wire about what will happen in the second season of Sanctuary; there are spoilers, though they are fairly minor ones at that.

FOX has picked up Past Life, a crime drama that deals with reincarnation & stars Kelli Giddish, Nicholas Bishop, Richard Schiff, & Ravi Patel.

Human Target was picked up by FOX. Yay! :D

The director's cut of Watchmen will be released on DVD on July 21st; it'll include 25 minutes of additional footage, pushing the film over 3 hours.

Another trailer for the second season of True Blood has been released; it's nice, but not as awesome as the first one.

Ausiello has the official promo poster for True Blood s2 & details on the first three episodes of the new season -- details as in episode titles & descriptions, so proceed with caution.

In an interesting (and potentially fan-freakin-tastic) development, ABC Studios wants to produce new episodes of Reaper for syndication -- even if the CW goes ahead & cancels it. Tyler Labine does have a pilot in the works, but he'll have to return if this deal goes through.

A few more details about the American movie adaptation of Primeval have been released & -- they aren't good. The studio & its handpicked writer 'will transplant the action to the United States and ramp up the spectacle'. D:

The Stargate SG-1 pilot, Children of the Gods, has been recut & will be released on DVD on July 21st.

The Stargate Atlantis movie now has a working title -- Stargate: Extinction.

GateWorld has come up with a recommended viewing order for everything Stargate related; I might have to give it a try when I'm ready for a rewatch. :D

The DVD release date for the first season of Blood Ties has been pushed back to June 23rd.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been officially cancelled (pause for sobbing D:), The Unusuals has also been axed, Without a Trace is almost dead, but Cold Case has been renewed.

NBC has renewed Chuck with an order for 13 episdoes, but its budget has been severely cut. So -- optimistic yay?

Bones has been renewed for two more seasons; the article does have a major spoiler for the season finale in it.

Lie to Me has been renewed but it's getting a new showrunner.

Major ABC update: Castle & Better Off Ted have been renewed, Scrubs will be back (& Braff will return for 6 episodes), and V & Eastwick have both been picked up.

Legally Mad, with Kristin Chenoweth, & The Bridget Show, with Lauren Graham, have both been rejected by their respective networks. :/ I'm really disappointed about Legally Mad, it sounded entertaining.

Alanis Morissette will be appearing in at least 7 episodes of the upcoming fifth season of Weeds -- there is a possibility that she could stay on longer.

Great news about the Dollhouse s1 DVDs -- the set will include both the unaired pilot (Echo) & the unaired finale (Epitaph One). Awesome!

I had entertained this theory myself, but it was interesting to see it explored in print -- Michael Green of Kings talked to Newsarama about why God was taboo in their marketing efforts. Marc Guggenheim of Eli Stone also shares his thoughts on how spirituality affected his show.

While pickups are not official yet, things look good for the NCIS spinoff, Three Rivers with Alex O'Loughlin, & The Good Wife with Julianna Margulies. The same goes for Melrose Place & Vampire Diaries.
