The 60 roots and letter-numerals combine to form an unlimited number of words:
mo "move-" + de "from" --> modevi "go, leave"
ri "take-" + sa "know-" --> risavi "learn"

ru "rule-" + so "structure-" --> rusono "law"

The word stress in compounds is always on the penultimate syllable:
