Recipes
2 - Cabbage (German Home Cooking). This was a very tasty version of boiled cabbage with caraway seeds.
- Jagerschnitzel (
https://www.thespruce.com/jaegerschnitzel-with-mushroom-sauce-1447075). Much nicer version than the last time, but still not quite "it". Oddly, I was surprised that not one of my German cookbooks has a recipe for this.
7 - black bean soup (

20 - mustard (Ein Buch von Guter Spise)
21 - mustard (Eenen Nyeuwen Coock Boeck)
23 - mustard (Libre de Sent Sovi), Sourdough Bacon-Cheese Muffins (Sourdough Cookery - I used leftover ham instead of bacon).
I got back on the pitching bandwagon. I finished throwing out lots of stuff I hadn't gotten rid of in March, and then I read Marie Kondo's book "Spark Joy" so I needed to throw out all the things. It felt very satisfying.

Fitness stuff went fairly well. I rode my bike to work pretty faithfully, despite a relatively rainy April. I swam, I rode Fancy, I danced. I ate more than I should have, so the weight hasn't been dropping as hoped. I have been journalling fairly faithfully for three months now, and I'm getting sloppy. I'll need to work on that for next month.
Crafts - I made a headband. It's a cute little lacy pattern I'll probably use again. I also started a pink pussy hat.
A&S - I cooked, I redid my camicia again (and I'm still not happy with the neckline, so I'm tearing it apart again), made a little leather pouch, did some awesome research on the history of pretzels, sauerkraut, and mustards, as well as on Merovingian leather pouches.
