I woke this morning to news of terrorist activity in the UK. I feel I can't pray enough for the state of our world. For some reason, when things like this happen, I am personally very affected. I have a couple "security" like questions.
1. How do I make my journal "friends only"?
2. How do I make sure my journal won't appear in online search results?
Teaching teenagers kind of makes me more precautious.

My dog has become a hellish monster!
She is pooping all over the house...i can only imagine she is sick, but it's still HORRIBLE!
I'm signing my papers in Springfield today! Yay!

My next baking endevor (aside from the box of brownie mix i'm making right now for our last minute bbq guests) is a Coca-cola cake. I've found lots of recipes, and all the ingredients seem easy to find...except...buttermilk...is this available at regular grocery stores???? maybe one my lovely friends out there in LJ land has the answer ( Read more... )

The weather is finally perfect!
Eric made us pancakes this morning AND CLEANED THE KITCHEN while I was at the laundry mat (where many odd people happen to hang out...it's a bit scary).
We just went shopping and picked up our favorite beer from the Amherst Brewing company...
it's a good day =)

Just did dishes, baked teh cobbler i was going to bake yesterday (i decided it would be better to bake today and take to the clamboil tomorrow since we already have cookies...it had a lot of butter though, so i hope it tastes okay), and cleaned the bathroom. I made eric a batch of cookies.
I bought fresh native peaches.
I am about to try to make a peach cobbler....yum!
Do we need this many desserts? no.
Do normal people do this when it is 100 degress outside? no
Do i strongly desire to be a domestic goddess? yes.
