I do not think I really have anything good to day about this, Paige. I would certainly never say a bad word against your family, but I will give my vague, no-fingers-pointing opinion. I think family should stand by family unless they are being used, and you are not using them. Your family wanted you out there and now you are there and they should be nothing but happy about it. They knew that it would take a while before you started making money again, and I feel like that should have been part of the deal. Treating someone as a burden when that person is genuinely trying only is selfish on the other person's part. Some day that other person may need help, and feel sorry that they dismissed that friend or family member when that person was the one in need.

Also, everybody, even people with plenty of money, needs rides to and from the airport. Even the people I know who could easily afford it do not like to park their car in long-term airport parking lots. The fees are high and there is a risk of vandalism. So yes, I will always give a friend or family member a ride to or from the airport and I would be especially hurt if they acted like me asking for the same was a selfish request. This is just one of those things that people do for each other. I mean maybe if you had more money you could offer them some gas money, or buy their lunch as a thank you, but beyond that something like a ride to the airport is just one of those standard things you do that maybe isn't your favorite favor to grant, but you grant it anyway because someone you love needs your help. *sigh*
