I got stung by a yellowjacket (which I just learned is part of the wasp family) at about 11:30 this morning and now, eleven hours later, the damn thing hasn't stopped hurting. As for the lameness of the Wasp, if you're ever in the mood for a full-blown feminist comic rant you let me know, because I could go on for awhile. I'll just shorten it way down to: the 60's comics were not a good place for female empowerment, and Wonder Woman, created to be a strong, female role model, has been appropriated by horny teenage boys. Okay, I'll take all my angry wants-to-rant energy and go back to creating my empowered, cross-dressing superherione, whose outfit would not require regular Bazilian waxes.
That superhero religion site was awesome. I hope you're cool with Abby being Jewish. Not like I ever plan to focus on it, but that's how I think of her.
That's an awesome idea about Vera. I'm doing research to, but not enough, I've been doing more research in reading comic books, but I have a couple books on gypsies checked out. I hope to make some actualy progress on them this weekend. And my shaolin book has finally been shipped, so can't wait to start on that one.
