Breaking Dawn drama
Work was uber stressful today thanks to Father's Day new releases and lack of staff. I started early for the second day in a row.
I am really irritated at the Australian publisher of Breaking Dawn. Originally the book was meant to be embargoed - meaning you aren't allowed to sell it till the release date. But now it turns out that Breaking Dawn isn't embargoed so we can sell it whenever it arrives at the store. This is good if the book arrives on Friday to be ready for the Monday official release, but it also means that it might not turn up till Monday afternoon. If this happens there are going to be A LOT of pissed off people expecting it to be ready for 9am Monday like it was supposed to be.
Plus, I feel sorry for the 200+ people who have preordered the book in order to guarantee they get it first. They think that it's coming out on Monday 4th and now could be out three days earlier.
Either way there are going to be annoyed customers.
I just hope it arrives Friday instead of Monday.
