Holy shit. My money is in serious danger right now. I always knew books in the UK were cheap and Jen mentioned how the Book Depository has free international shipping but I never really looked into it because I get a decent discount at work. Except tonight I have discovered it is cheaper for me to buy these books online than at work. That's ridiculous.
No wonder Dymocks is pushing for a change in book law to help lower Australian book prices. If I buy the Harry Potter hardcover boxset at work it will cost $200 ($270 RRP) but if I buy it online it will cost $150 max. It's the same for other titles as well. I just had to restrain myself from spontaneously ordering six million titles.
In other news, I have finally applied for my credit card! I was really nervous about it because credit cards are big and scary. I've always been really responsible with my money and I don't want to lose my head now.
Oh I have creamy hot coccoa at home now! It's the most delicious hot chocolate (besides from Starbucks mint hot chocolate) and I can finally have it whenever I like!!!
