christmas shopping
My Christmas shopping is practically complete! All that's left is picking up a copy of Tales of Beedle the Bard for my sister from work. Even though I was supposed to be focusing on christmas presents today, I still managed to spend just as much money on myself. I got that little red dress of layby in preparation for New Year's Eve as well as another layby I had at a different store. I also bought myself a new book to read [PS I Love You] and a new journal for the new year. I could've done much worse if I hadn't restrained myself.
Dad is borrowing my car tomorrow for work so to avoid public transport mum is dropping me at work tomorrow morning. Except she will be dropping me at 7:30am, two hours before I actually start. I hate the bus so much that I am willing to sit in the plaza for two hours. Have decided to treat myself to a cafe breakfast. Mmmm proper toast.
I've started writing again. I'm a little rusty and fail miserably at aptly describing music, but it feels good to get back into it. I've been avoiding it for far too long.
My uni results are released tomorrow, though I won't be able to check them until after work. I'm confident I've passed. All I need to do now is pay my library fines and I will be set to graduate! Wooh!
