As a booklover, I find it really disappointing that the only time there are massive, security-controlled crowds for a book signing is when it is "written" by a sporting player. It's sad testament to the flaws of our society when someone receives more recognition for the size of their muscles instead of the depth of their knowledge

It can be but it depends on the tone and context. The way Rebecca said it, it was meant more as a compliment.

And after years of Aunty Violet making snide comments on my weight, I am more than happy to take a few insults about being skinny.
