It's raining really hard at the moment and the thrum of it on the verandah is so loud I can barely hear my music. I love it when it rains like this, though it usually doesn't last very long.
Tomorrow night Bel and I are seeing a preview screening of Twilight in the city. We got the tickets for free from work. I'm a little apprehensive to be honest. Bel is meant to pick me up from work at 4:30pm [I'm getting changed at work] and we're having dinner in the city. But she is notoriously unreliable with these things and will be driving something like two hours back from visitng her fiance for the weekend. There is a very good chance I am going to be sitting at work waiting for her.
Work is having a secret santa this year and as cruel fate would have it, I got Trevor. As I have absolutely no idea what to buy someone I don't like, I went for the failsafe option of a selection of goodies from a chocolate store.
I've just spent about an hour looking at online catalogues for lingerie stores. I love lingerie. Except I can't afford it, have no one to wear it for and I think my mum would have a stroke if she found it doing the laundry.
I have to get up early tomorrow and I really don't want to. I want to curl into a ball and listen to the rain drowning out all sounds except my heartbeat.
