New Supernatural Eps Make My Heart Sing
WOO HOO! A new episode of SPN aired, my cable didn't crap out on me, and my recorder did what it was supposed to...which is to say it recored the episode while I was at work, wishing I were home watching SPN as it aired [well, it mostly did its job...there's about 15 or 20 seconds missing from the beginning, but that's really more user error (yep, I'm an idiot)].
In any case, I'm completely stoked to have Supernatural back, and now I'm so wired I probably won't sleep for hours. :D Anyone wanna bug me on AIM?
Actually, this is just where I wanted to say that tonight's episode totally shot holes in a SPN fic idea I'd been kicking around. Guess that's what happens when you leave fic ideas collecting dust in the attic for too long...they get Kripked. :(
Oh well, mine was a crap idea anyway.
And as for my thoughts on tonight's ep? FREAKIN' AWESOME. Yeah...that sums it up nicely. I'm not looking forward to the drought that will come when we run out of new episodes. I really, really hope the Writer's Strike reaches a happy conclusion soon. I'd forgotten how not-bleak my weeks were when I had a weekly dose of SPN on Thursday.
And now maybe I can finally get past my writer's block and actually get DR finished. ...assuming real-life takes a break from kicking me while I'm down.
