How To Pull A Kroket Out of The Wall
I was in the Netherlands over a week ago and ran into all sorts of interesting things: football cards, eels, special ice, travel smart cards, etc. Unfortunately, the minute I returned, I became embroiled in the continuing problem of how to get Tower Hamlets Council to fix the water to our building.
So, just a quickie for now, which Wingnut found while trying to educate me about some point of Dutch culture. It's a simple vid of someone operating a typical hot snack machine set into a wall, but it cracked me up for some reason. Maybe you need to have seen it for yourself.
Note: kroket = snack that is deep-fried and crispy on the outside, meat-inspired mystery on the inside.

For the observant, there's some special Dutch body language at the end in Step 6. I did see this gesture "in the wild" during the weekend.
