Weekends bring all kinds of things...
** Seriously, body... you're kidding me, right? I accept the changes over the years as my body gets older. I do. And I try to combat them with good diet, exercise, and sleep. But this?
I get up this morning and first glance in the bathroom mirror sees me riveted to a small area on my chin that seems to be sprouting teenage-like acne. *eyes widen in horror* What the...???
I'm forty three years old, I think, surely not. *has closer inspection* Acne? NOW??? Tbh, it's not that bad a breakout, it is coverable by makeup and more than likely due to teh hormonal happenings around the Foxxy Bod, but FFS, come on. This part of youth I didn't want back, thanks very much.
** Baseball has finished for the season and with barely a chance to catch our breath, the start of rugby union begins tomorrow with two trial games. Mitch is so excited he can barely sit still and seems to have a footy ball in his hands constantly. *g*
ETA: Oh, you wouldn't believe it. Mitch stubbed his toe out riding his bike today. *incredulous expression* Loads of blood, mainly from nail bending back on itself *ouch* but I think it'll be right by tomorrow morning. Boys!
** Harry has been entertaining himself with a little game that seems to involve putting pieces of duplo all around the house, just one piece in each spot. While putting laundry away I kept noticing them in all kinds of places - on top of the dresser, on the vanity in the bathroom, beside the hall stand on the floor. LOL. I have no idea what each piece means or what the game is, but who am I to stand in the way of his fun? *g*
