I was laying down with Maxine this afternoon, trying to distract myself and ignore the period from HELL by surfing through various graphic and header communities on LJ. Found some amazing stuff - man, there are some bloody clever people around!
Came across this one and I just HAD to use it. Along with new header. *smiles* It's the little things in life that make me happy, you know?
TV meme in my last post has three only left to guess... one of those quotes is from a show already mentioned. *iz mysterious* I'll wait until tomorrow and if no-one has guessed, I'll put the answers up then. Hee.
Woo hoo! Awesome little visit back to high school, filling in some back story of Sam & Dean's pasts. Oh! *flails* I enjoyed it very much. A few things in dot point form:
* LOL seeing Dean in those tight red shorts! Dodge ball was never like this. ;)
* Wee!Sam standing up against the bully, and seeing his small but oh so sweet smile as he gains the unaccustomed acceptance from the other students, compared to the guilt of the adult Sam when he hears about Dirk's unknown tragic family life.
* Tough guy Dean and his constant companion, the Leather Jacket of Lurve, and those Lips! Oh my. And calling the teacher 'sweetheart'? LOL.
* Amanda busting Dean in the closet with the other girl and then calling him out in front of everybody, humiliating him. *feels his pain*
* I always felt John Winchester had to shoulder a large proportion of blame for the shitty childhood Dean and Sam had (you couldn't blame it ALL on the YED) and this episode only helped reinforce that for me. Those poor boys. *holds them*
And next week, it's all about strippers?! LOLOLOL. Bring it. :)
Oh, and a thousand apologies and belated birthday wishes to the fabulous mercurybard - hope you had a really great day, Cody, doing something fun! You deserve it, hon. *hugs*
