Sorry I haven't commented before (I'm terrible about this) but I'm very much enjoying this series! Love seeing Ianto open up to Jack and how he has entertainment plans for Jack during boring UNIT meetings (now if only I had a Ianto to pack me movies to watch during boring work meetings).

Oh. My. God. I am speechless. That was one of the finest episodes (and I use that word deliberately) I have ever read. I held my breath the whole time I was reading. Well, not the WHOLE time but you get the picture. You do the stream-of-consciousness thing in Ianto's head so well it's scary. But the real crown jewel was Ianto's description of the events at Canary Wharf. I've read so many versions of these events and have never been so moved, horrified and just plain impressed as I was by what you wrote. It sounds so plausible and so well written that I can see it in my head. I can feel the fear and the horror. The rest of it was great as well. Your Ianto is so brilliant and well prepared. I'm glad that Jack is getting a real appreciation for his talents. And Jack's quiet but insistent support is so welcome. I'm glad he learned after the Beacons not to let Ianto slip away into despair and the darkness again. I'm babbling here so forgive me. I'm just so moved by what you've written here.

I would love to have a peek into that file, especially under the subtitle, "Harkness, Cpt. Jack" I'm sure it's full of all sorts of interesting observances. Love this story!

Oh I'm worried about Frank, I really hope he's on the up and up. Brilliant chapter. Poor Ianto..felt so bad for him at the begining. Very well done!
