Forgiven - 6/?

Ianto set foot in the Hub at exactly 7am, carrying two suit bags in one arm and leading a wheeled suitcase in the other. He was shocked to see Owen sitting on the sofa, but he wasn’t surprised to see how angry Owen was. The medic was swearing and muttering to himself about damn captains taking tea-boys on last minute vacations. Just as Ianto was ( Read more... )

I actually could have kicked Jack there for a moment when he forgot who he was talking to about the whole Canary Wharf mess. He's got his won issues about war and battle and all but I just knew as soon as the words left his mouth that Ianto would freak out
*hugs battered Welshman*
Jack made it all up though when he offered his support should Ianto ever need any. I'm also glad Ianto was honest about what bothered him with this Parson guy. Having to be secretive for so long is hard to shake and it actually tales more of an effort for Ianto at the moment to be truthfull about some things.

Otherwise, great humour in this bit. Jack and Ianto do banter so well. It's a damn good thing Ianto's coming out of his shell more and more often now. I sometimes wonder if some of Jack's immaturity isn't only so obvious in order to indulge his archivist :)

this was spectacular on so many levels. There were some really funny bits at the beginning - the whole bit in the car about Ianto knowing everything - that was just a riot - the whole bit with Owen at the beginning.

And then the gut-wrenching angst at the end, when Jack started talking and realized Ianto had never talked about Canary Wharf - so sad! Great chapter.
