Forgiven - 4/?

Instead of going straight home as he planned, Ianto drove. He drove for hours, down highways, country lanes, one-car bridges. He drove until he hit water. He didn't realized how far he’d driven, adn the only town name he'd seen was for Kingston-upon-Hull, and that had been a while ago.. He had no idea where he was exactly, save that it was ( Read more... )

this is just lovely--i'm a real sucker for ianto and tosh friendship stories, and this is a fabulous one. i also like the slowly building relationship between jack and ianto--not forced, but coming to appreciate one another. well done!

Great finale *again*!
I like this new and improved Ianto as well; he knows what he wants and how to get it (including alternative plans B through Q) and now he's actually doing something about it - I'm in love all over again
*sighs*

Thanks for yet another great fic. You really spit them out at an impossible speed :)

BTW Do you mind if I befriend you? I'd like to keep track of your stories but I'm gonna stop watching so many communities so I'll actually get some uni work done once in a while.

Thanks for commenting! Feel free to befriend me. I like a stronger Ianto too; weepy Ianto bores me!

I love this story and look forward to the emerging Ianto and blossoming Janto.

My only sticking point with this chapter was in your choice of Hull, only because as someone local to that area I had trouble picturing the scenes you where discribing as my mind was substituing the actual river banks instead but I got past that and did enjoy the chapter.

OK, I do have a problem with the location....I think you need to Google it....Hull is four hours from Cardiff, and that's a conservative estimate, if you were going by back routes (which there probably are, but I'm not sure they would involve one car bridges...) it would take easily twice that time.
I think a use of Google Earth, which is very good, would be in order here!!!
Oh, I do like the story, though, in spite of this.

I loved the Ianto's strength in this fic, which was typified in his defiance of Jack's wishes. And, Jack loved every bit of it. Great chapter!
