Boredom caused this.
So yeah... I sent a message on ff-net and since it talks about certain viewpoints I have, and doesn't have anything private/personal in it, I figured what the hey.
wow... did I really respond to your story on the 28th of March? (and on Sakuras' birthday no less...) I can even remember writing that response, so I guess I was thinking that it would have been more recent.
Well, I agree with your stand-point on Sasuke, that is really very interesting.
In my own opinion, I think that Kishimoto is going to have one of the original three die, that's been my way of thinking for a while now. Now, Sasuke would be the obvious choice, although Sakura is just as likely based on the drama-angst concept. Now, if it were Naruto, that would certainly end the thing, but that would also have (in my opinion) literally hundreds and thousands and hundreds of thousands of fans banging down on Kishi's door. Personally, I decided quite a while ago, that if he chooses the Naruto route, I would personally buy a ticket to Japan, just to punch the man in the face. No joke.
But honestly, the way the manga's been going recently, it seems like it might be coming to a close. After all, after Akatsuki and Sasuke, where does the story have to go? I've been thinking about this for a while, but it's been seeming more and more conclusive recently. Ever since we learned just who Madara was.
So the way I figure it, there's about another couple hundred chapters of story left. Which admittedly *is* a couple of years. A few really, equaling about four or five.
Well, this rant is going nowhere.
I got to say, having just reread the story, the last two paragraphs are definitely my favourites, while the image of Sakura looking at them curiously almost gives me shivers.
