Once all the new towels were folded, he carried out a set to his lone guest. Like all his other visitors, he had to focus away from the fact that they were naked. It was significantly harder when it was this particular person. He cleared his throat softly, hoping he wasn't disturbing her.
He bowed his head and put the towels on a bench. "I hope you're enjoying your soak, Blink-san."

"I probably should get out soon... I mean, I don't want to prune up..." Her voice carried no conviction. She felt almost like she should sink to the bottom of the spring, and see how long she could stay down there before either coming up or... don't even go there, girl. "But not yet." She leaned her head back, letting her hair start to drift in the water again. "You..." She stopped, then sat back up, turning around to fully face him. "...you ( ... )

His curly boar tail. It was hiding just underneath his fiery red clothing.
"You name is Clarice? Why do call yourself Blink sometimes?" The ninja asked, curious as to why she would hide her identity.

"Warriors... fighting against an evil power..." He said again, but not really directing it at her. Maybe the two of them had more in common than he first thought. He reached up and scratched behind his ear. Then he realized he was sort of rambling while she spoke. "Oh um... sorry. It's just that your story... feels familiar to me. I want to continue calling you Blink, but Clarice is a pretty name." Poor guy was getting easily confused again. He hadn't even noticed she only let her closest friends call her that.

As she wrapped the towel around her hair, she pressed her curiosity. "You've been up against impossible odds in a battle with some great evil, too?" She tightened the turban in front, then settled back down on the bench, putting on a few other pieces of clothing. "What was yours like?" She was being willfully distracted, looking for other things to occupy her mind. Anything was better than thinking about...

He dipped his bare feet into the hot water before he began. "It was... kind of scary, actually." For the first time, Kazuki looked like he was in deep thought. "It basically starts with my sister getting kidnapped by the sorcerer Amaksuka. I was forced to go rogue from the clan that raised me. We're... not allowed to go after lost ninja. But I couldn't just let that madman have my sister!
"The Kazama clan sent my brother Sougetsu to kill me. But instead of doing that, he allowed me to escape with Hazuki." Kazama sighed, the feeling of homesickness washing through him. He missed Sougetsu and Hazuki more than he first thought.

Slowly, she rose to her feet, striding over to a tree not too far from the steaming bath. Reaching up into it, she plucked a brightly-colored brush from one of the branches, and returned to the bench, setting it down before leaning forward. She grabbed her towel-wrap in both hands and began properly drying her hair. "A sorcerer, huh? Fought one of those not that long ago... the guy had remade an entire city to resemble his old home... buildings, vehicles, even the people there. Something tells me yours was more sinister, though."

"Sounds like your group is a lot like my clan. Hell, you remind me a lot of Hazuki. Right down to wearing green..." He was almost tempted to ask if Blink's team had a water user in their group, but he bit his tongue. Then he realized what he just said. Blink was very much like Hazuki. Both girls wore green and were very strong in their own right. And since Hazuki was not biologically related to Kazuki OR Sougetsu... That meant...
