I'm very sorry that it took about three months longer than I had originally anticipated, but I finally wrote a tutorial on sewing a tabbed Elizabethan corset with boning that extends into the tabs. It's nowhere near what I want it to be yet, but I have a decent sampling of my original artwork posted for sale. After Thanksgiving I'm hoping to have time to go through a bunch of old costume items (Renaissance garb mostly), most of them never worn and not in my size, and post them for sale as well ( Read more... )

Tonight I re-drafted the pattern for my new Victorian overbust corset, making adjustments from the mockup so it will fit better. The next step will be to re-draw the pattern pieces on butcher paper, and decide whether to make a second mockup or just dive into making the final.
