Ramone, Me, and my Uncle Norb in BonAire
I was awoken by my brother this morning at 8:30am to the news that my Uncle Norb passed away earlier. He was in his later 60s and managed to survive about six weeks when given just about five. He was doing okay aside from being tired and groggy. He fell getting out of bed in the night and was taken to the in hospital hospice where he passed earlier this morning.
My mother got the call from my Aunt and cousin, and Frankie took her to the airport at noon. We have the dog now, and Liz will be staying at Gus's tonight after the TorchLight Parade. We'll have to go water Mom's plants and get the new baby rats. Don't know how long she'll be gone though...
I only worked a couple hours earlier. I just couldn't be there. May your thoughts and prayers be with him and his family.
