this journal might as well be titled "Things that Piss Me Off"
So MONTHS ago I saw this jacket in the window of The Gap. Now I try not to shop at Gap, you know, on principle, because they are a greedy Multinational Corporation and because they are SUCH a label. But this jacket was THE Jacket. The one I've been wanting and sketching on the back pages of my notebooks. It was the perfect shape and fit, it had the full zipper and the snap closure at the top. Maybe I'd have liked it with one or two more pockets, but eh, such is life.
But it's leather. So I didn't buy it.
But I still want That Jacket. I want it in that style and everything, but I want it to be cotton, you know, that canvas material. but I can't find anything that comes close! and I know I never will. So then i want to make it, but I can't do that because I don't have the skillz to create a pattern like that. GRRRR!
