Had a pretty decent night last night.
Hung out with
Mattsiah,
Chrys,
Meghan , and Gareth (WINOLJ) shaving
Mattsiah's head for a mohawk.
After much hanging out, book and game loaning, discussion of orgasms, gender stereotypes, and the sociopolitical ramifications of growing up in a culture that gave birth to both the hacker and punk rock movements, we made our exit with a mission.
It turns out that
Meghan had never experienced the joy of a White Castle Jalopeño Cheeseburger. This was very quickly remedied on our way home.
Yum. It's been at least 4 years since I'd had one.
I've spent today setting up a snapshot of my
Backtrack 2 LiveCD inside a Virtual Machine on my work laptop (so I can hack my own databases on other VM's for security testing purposes), screwing around with Motorola's stupidass mobile phone tools software (I'm seriously considering end-running around this tool entirely. It's an overly expensive piece of shit. All I want is file-system level phone manipulation and the ability to text message over my phone with my computer keyboard. I just can't write my own driver and don't trust most of the free alternatives that are out there) and considering watching a few episodes of the newly-obtained SG-1 Season 9.
Life is good, even if I *do* have to get up super early tomorrow, put on a noose, and do an install at a remote site.
