I’m so excited about this exchange, and thank you for offering one of my ship requests! For some reason I’ve long been drawn to ships with at least some kind of age gap element to them, so this exchange theme was right up my alley.
Below you’ll find my general likes and DNWs, which I’ve tried to tailor to this exchange a bit, as well as some fandom specific prompts and chatter. Please note that if none of my specific prompts work for you and you have some other inspiration in mind, that is totally okay and I’d love to see what you can come up with! (As long as it doesn’t go into DNW territory, of course.)
Things I like:
Linda Martin/Mazikeen - I just adore these two together. Mazikeen is so bad-ass and yet there’s still this innocent, new-to-this-human-emotions-and-expectations-thing that I love about her. And Linda has had to cope with so much, from learning about the “true nature” of the universe, Hell, and the devil to the situation with her ex Reese and nearly dying. They are my total Lucifer OTP.
I’d love any story exploring the development of their relationship, moving from friends to lovers, dealing with the whole “Amenadiel situation” (I literally jumped with joy when Linda broke up with him, not because I don’t like Amenadiel but I don’t want him in between Linda & Maze.) Humor is always appreciated, too-Linda taking Maze to some kind of social event or gathering where she’s totally inappropriate, for instance. Or meeting Linda’s family?
My one fandom specific DNW here is that I do NOT ship Lucifer/Chloe, so I’d prefer no “Deckerstar” in my gift.
The Exorcist
This show is my new fandom obsession-it was just so well done and engaging, and Marcus Keane is such an amazing character I was mesmerized every time he was on screen.
Marcus Keane/Tomas Ortega - Of course I ship Tomarcus, but I also love them as mentor/mentee. In fact while I definitely see/love the sexual tension there, I prefer it in an unrequited way-at least through the events of the end of Season 2. So, give me anything where Marcus realizes/tries to deny/angst about his growing affection toward Tomas and how he needs to resist it. Or what happens when he finally goes to find Tomas after hearing God’s voice again, and maybe can no longer deny his feelings.
A future-fic would be interesting to me as well. Where might the characters be, 5 or 10 years down the line? Still fighting demons? Enjoying a more peaceful life together after the “war” is over? Or, for a darker vision, what if the demons “win” and take over, and Marcus and Tomas are in hiding somewhere?
Marcus Keane/Original Younger Male Character - After leaving Tomas with Mouse, Marcus sets out on his own…does he meet anyone special who helps him try to heal in those six months before we see him again? Or maybe he just tries to drown out his feelings for Tomas (and Mouse) with random sex, finally allowing himself to explore his long-suppressed sexual desires. It could be with someone who vaguely reminds Marcus of Tomas, to make it a little/extra angsty.
Marcus Keane/Original Older Male Character - With this specific prompt I was thinking of a backstory for Marcus from his much younger days. Maybe during his training as an exorcist he fell for an older priest, and that was when he first realized the truth of his sexuality? (This is the one request I have where I’d be totally fine with an underage character, specifically teen Marcus with an older man.)

John Munch/Odafin "Fin" Tutuola
My eternal exchange request/OTP ship. As always, I’d adore anything for them. Munch and Fin just make me that happy, every time there’s a story featuring them. Some prompts:
Poor Brian is such a sweet innocent noobie in the first season, he definitely needs to learn a few things about human sexuality in all of its kinky possibilities from Munch. I know that’s a fic scenario that’s been written a lot in the past but damn do I enjoy it. Or maybe there’s some jealousy simmering there while Brian and Olivia are together? Otherwise I’m curious now that Brian is supposedly back in New York working as a Special Investigator, which is where Munch is, too.
John Munch/Olivia Benson
I think part of me shipped this all the way back to the first season (maybe especially then, before Fin showed up) because I thought they had such a sweet dynamic. And deep-the scenes I remember the most are when he finds out about her being the child of a rape and goes searching to find information for her. Yes, John is rather fatherly/like an uncle to Olivia at times…but what if his feelings ran in a more romantic direction (as did hers?)
Maybe one night they had a bit of a drunken fling, thought better of it and moved on…but years later there’s still something there that needs to be addressed or considered more seriously. Maybe John never says anything to her about his real feelings until he’s retired and it’s no longer a conflict at the 16th. Maybe he sees her struggling with the job, Noah, and a building problem with alcohol and steps in to try to help her-including with his love for her (feel free to ignore Tuckson completely. No hate just not a ship I’m big on.) I secretly kind of love that idea, their years of friendship someday turning into something more like that.
John Munch/Monique Jeffries
I really enjoyed the development of their relationship in season 1 from being so antagonistic to actually good partners. (And while I adore Munch/Fin it does make me sad that Monique left just as she and John seemed to be bonding.) There’s definitely a shift in their dynamic, around the events in “Remorse” and “Nocturne”, that I’d love to see explored in any form or fashion-missing scene(s), post-episode fic, etc. Also good would be a story where they get together after Monique leaves SVU? (Either soon afterward or sometime in the future.
For pure smut, I love the idea of Femme Dom!Monique, or hate/angry sex that ends up being way hotter than either of them anticipated or could have imagined. Or even the old cliche of waking up in bed together with no memory of what or how it happened.

Speaking of pure smut…this is my ship for wanting it. Bad. The more dirty-bad-wrong the better. Daddy kink? Yes, please. Office sex with the risk of getting caught? Mm hmm. Nick totally fucked up with feeling guilty about what he wants but being unable to say no to John? Hell yeah. You get the idea, I think.
Crossover Fandoms:
Methos (Highlander)/Tim Bayliss (Homicide: Life on the Street)
I can imagine some pretty intense sexual chemistry between these two, and also Tim struggling with the idea of immortality after he’s gone through exploring his spiritual beliefs. Perhaps Tim becomes Immortal and thinks he can’t cope with it, he’s still too plagued by guilt over killing Luke Ryland and can’t imagine taking part in the Game. Methos could be there for him to help him dealt with that guilt and move on…I just think they’d be fascinating together.
Jack McCoy (Law & Order)/Casey Novak (Law & Order: SVU)
I never thought of this ship until I read it in a story, once, and holy HELL was it hot! And it got me thinking how sparks could really fly between these two strong-willed, smart and passionate people. I’d love to see that passion turn sexual while arguing about whether or how to pursue a case, for instance. Or Jack reacting/offering comfort to Casey after the events in SVU’s “Cold” when she is (at least temporarily) disbarred.
Lucifer (Lucifer TV)/Nick Amaro (Law & Order: SVU)
Some serious smut would be lovely here, or a casefic of some kind set once Nick moves out to California. Maybe he’s working as a PI now and an investigation leads him to Lucifer/Lux? How would his faith be rocked to discover Lucifer really is the devil?
Stewart Copeland (The Police)/Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters)
One of my old and beloved RPS ships that I still yearn for new content for! I love how they’re both adorable dorks, big kids who never really grew up or stopped loving rock and roll. Taylor’s hero worship toward Stewart (and so many other classic rock drummers/musicians) is just too cute. So turn that worship sexual-at home, in the studio, on the road…I legit would love anything and everything here.

- I generally like a certain element of “role reversal” in my age gap ships-at least in the sense that the older character finds out there are things he can learn from the younger character. It might just be a different perspective on how to see things, rediscovering a passion or love for life, or the younger character being more sexual experienced in some way than the older one. This applies to both my mortal/immortal and mortal/mortal ships. That’s all definitely catnip for me.
- I am good with and in fact generally appreciate stories actually making note of the age gap and how it can affect their relationship both now and in the future. The older character worrying about becoming a burden to the other, or fretting about leaving their partner “alone”…I don’t want it all angsty and sad but these are certainly realistic themes that can be addressed.
- I like casefic, stories that capture at least some of that feel of the original source canon.
- Romance and relationships through the years: couples growing old together, reflections on how time changes people and their views on what they want from life and what love/romance means to them.
- Hurt/comfort (especially emotional h/c)-as long as there is lots of comfort and it’s not just a whump!fic.
- Humor is always appreciated, even of the slightly cracky variety.
- For smutty fic: sexy fun that isn’t all about penetration. I love frot, oral sex, 69, extended kissing scenes, characters so turned on by each other that they can hardly last beyond some sensual touching, erotic massage, etc.
- Couples that are happy and clearly complete without kids.
- I’m ok with any rating, gen to explicit smut.
- Actual death fic, be it of the older or younger character in the ship.
- Pregnancy/kidfic. Please, nothing that suggests or promotes the idea that a person/couple can’t truly be happy and fulfilled until or unless they have children.
- Public humiliation/embarrassment
- BDSM beyond the playful use of restraints, sensory denial, or spanking.
- Other kink-related DNWs: bloodplay, watersports, scat, sounding.
- Unrequested AUs (genderswap, high school, coffee shop, mundane, etc.)
- De-aging/underage ships. I’d prefer the character ages, and age gaps, remain as they are in canon.

- A hurt/comfort scenario that brings them closer together (either as friends or more). A shooting; death threats from an old enemy just released from prison; any situation where they have to rely on each other to pull through and learn something new about each other in the process.
- Soulmate AU of any kind. Finding out they’re soulmates when they would prefer (or so they think) anything BUT that. Or, what about choosing to be together despite NOT being soulmates? I love stories that twist and mix up common tropes like this as well as playing them straight.
- Fin surprising John somehow with an unexpected gesture or elaborate date. I love seeing Fin’s intellect and appreciation for culture, so it could be anything from a night out at the opera to doing something somehow inspired by a book or classic movie they both enjoy.
- Vacation gone hilariously wrong? Trying to get away for a peaceful weekend, they stumble upon a case. Or a Jersey Shore beach vacation is a complete rain out (oh, however will they entertain themselves…?)
- Meeting/dealing with each others’ family members. At some holiday or big family event, or perhaps when tragedy/a crime happens and they have to try to figure out what happened.
- Misadventures taking care of Fin’s grandson, and/or one of the other “squad kids”.
- Undercover as the most unlikely couple-and either that’s when they first discover their feelings, or it inadvertently “outs” them to others in the unit.
