Thanks for offering to write one of my requested fandoms/ships for this exchange! I’m going to try not to ramble on too much here and just cut to some general likes/DNWs and offer some specific prompts where I have them. But don’t feel limited by those prompts-most of my ships are so rare I really am happy to receive any gift for them, as long as they avoid my DNWs.

My eternal exchange request/OTP ship. As always, I’d adore anything for them, be it in a romantic relationship or not. Munch and Fin just make me that happy, every time there’s a story featuring them. Some prompts:

This is another instance where I’d be totally happy with either romantic or friendship/partner fic. Basically anything that expands on how they go from barely being able to stand each other and constantly snarking at the start of Season 1 to actually being good partners by the end of the season. There’s definitely a shift in their dynamic, around the events in “Remorse” and “Nocturne”, that I’d love to see explored in any form or fashion-missing scene(s), post-episode fic, etc. Also good would be a story where they get together after Monique leaves SVU? For pure smut, I love the idea of Femme Dom!Monique, or hate/angry sex that ends up being way hotter than either of them anticipated or could have imagined.

AU where Mike doesn’t die, but does go to Chicago. (AU him as engaged to Peter, not Alice? Or he meets Peter once he transfers to Chicago and realizes what he really wants and needs?) Another pure smut request, especially hate!sex. I know we haven’t seen them interact yet on the show, but it has been suggested they’re going to be at odds professionally, so let’s see that carry over into sexual tension and battling it out in the bedroom.
Dominick "Sonny" Carisi Jr. & John Munch
I always thought it was a damn shame we never got to see these two interact! I’d love any excuse for Sonny to get wrapped up in one of Munch’s conspiracy theories. Or perhaps an unlikely friendship evolves as they run into each other in the DA’s office when Sonny is shadowing Barba. I also ship Carisi and Rollins, so maybe Sonny comes to John for advice (or John notices something’s up and figures out it’s about his feelings for Amanda, and tries to help bring them together?)

I would love something like an epistolary story for these two-letters or emails written over time as a way they communicate and slowly grow closer to each other. Their relationship was so fascinating and complicated on the show, I would like seeing how their initial conflicting views would resolve. John would certainly be drawn to her intelligence even if they didn’t always see eye-to-eye on various ethical questions. In fact I think he’d love the chance to debate them with someone he’d be able to talk with on an equal level. I can imagine something blossoming between them that neither really expected.
Homicide Life on the Street
John Munch/Kay Howard
Gah, anything with these two, seriously…I ship them so hard throughout the show, especially in seasons 3 and 4. The way they tease each other and yet there’s an underlying respect and support that is always lurking beneath the surface. To me Kay is the type of woman that John would need to challenge him on his bullshit at times, but he also knows how to get her to laugh, relax, and have a little fun. So anything between them would be great-maybe she keeps coming to the Waterfront after she’s transferred out to Warrants, they keep talking, things develop romantically once they are no longer working day-to-day together? Otherwise I’m always keen on future fics where, after John moves to New York, something brings them back together and they finally realize/act on feelings for each other.
Gwen Munch/John Munch
Something pre-series, focusing on happier days for these two? I’d love to know the story of how they met and fell in love, or what their wedding was like. Or it could be bittersweet, John thinking back on those happier days while going through a photo album or just having something remind him of Gwen.
Tim Bayliss/Frank Pembleton/Mary Pembleton
The tricky thing with me and Homicide is, as much as I love Frank/Tim and how much subtext just exploded on screen between them, I adore Frank’s marriage to Mary as well-including their realistic struggles to stay together. So I have long wondered if they couldn’t make for an interesting OT3 together. I’d love to read how that might come about. Alternatively, I’d enjoy reading them as an established OT3. Maybe something when Tim is shot, how Frank and Mary provide comfort for each other as well as to Tim during his recovery? Really, anything that shows this as a supportive/working/happy threesome would make my heart happy.
Julianna Cox/Mike Kellerman/John Munch
Here I really kind of do just want some dirty dirty porn. It’s a late night at the Waterfront. John just wants to shut the bar down and go home, but Mike and Julianna are lingering, drunk, all hands-y with each other and making out…maybe John makes an ultimatum that if they don’t take it home then they have to either let him watch or join in the fun (I’d be happy with either/both!)

My new shiny fandom! (Curse you demons over at f_fa for getting me into this one.) I love simply everything about this show and all of the characters, too. Marcus is my favorite, and basically I ship him with happiness (ie, anyone is good, just let him be happy, dammit! Though he angsts and suffers so beautifully please feel free to make him hurt a lot along the way to getting there.)
A general prompt for any of these relationships would be for any kind of really bizarre, sort of cracky, possession case. Can an animal or pet become possessed by a demon? What about an electronic personal assistant (a demonic Alexa or Siri, anyone?) I’d also love to see our Catholic exorcists interacting or working with exorcists of other faiths, as Jeremy Slater suggested we might see in future seasons (if we ever get them).

Of course I ship Tomarcus, but I also love them as mentor/mentee. In fact while I definitely see/love the sexual tension there, I prefer it in an unrequited way-at least through the events of the end of Season 2. So, give me anything where Marcus realizes/tries to deny/angst about his growing affection toward Tomas and how he needs to resist it. Or what happens when he finally goes to find Tomas after hearing God’s voice again.

After leaving Tomas with Mouse, Marcus sets out on his own…does he meet anyone special who helps him try to heal in those six months before we see him again? Or maybe he just tries to drown out his feelings for Tomas (and Mouse) with random sex, finally allowing himself to explore his long-suppressed sexual desires.
Verity & Harper Graham
I want some kind of future-fic for these two…where do they end up in a few years? Verity becoming an atheist exorcist, perhaps, with Harper at her side? Or simply moving forward to live normal, demon-free lives and remaining close as foster sisters who went through such intense, terrible experiences together.
Mother Bernadette & Father Bennett
Just…anything that lets us learn more about these amazing characters. A pre-series fic where they are working an exorcist case together (perhaps butting heads over approach?) Commiserating over politics and issues within the church, or “problem” exorcists like Marcus?

I have so, so many crossovers I’d love to see, and while I realize many of these might take far more than 300 words to set up and make work, even just a fun snippet of these pairs of characters interacting would be great.

The Machine would have to be John Munch’s worst nightmare about government surveillance come to fruition. What if his number came up, or that of someone he cared about? Would he come around to appreciating Finch’s work in the face of the threat presented by Samaritan?
Abe Morgan (Forever TV) & John Munch (Law & Order SVU)
I totally head-canon that these two knew each other and were good friends back in their hippie days. So I’d love any kind of story where they meet-up/reconnect in recent times in New York. John ends up going to Abe’s antique shop while investigating a case? Meeting up for dinner to catch up on old times? John somehow is close to figuring out Henry’s secret and Abe has to try desperately to cover it up? Or even…what if Abe and John had an ex-wife in common with Maureen Delacroix? (She was married four times, like John, and we never learned the names of John’s exes except for Gwen and Billie Lou…)
Columbo (Columbo) & John Munch (HLOTS)
Any excuse for these two to work a case together, please! Perhaps Columbo finds himself in Baltimore for some reason and gets drawn into a case, or he meets Munch at the Waterfront and ends up helping him (in his Colombo way) with an investigation. Bonus points for Munch & dog interacting!

(Maybe John becomes a Watcher himself?) Or maybe Munch is an Immortal as well…that would certainly explain why and how he seems to show up in so many different canon universes, wouldn’t it? (Feel free to go with either Baltimore Homicide or New York SVU-era Munch here, honestly, I’m well-versed in both universes.)

What if Munch has secretly been a Watcher all these years, and the two meet up to share stories and misadventures? Otherwise a story where John first learns about Immortals and The Game, somehow via Joe. Maybe Munch ends up in Joe’s club and they bond over the joys and sorrows of running a bar…(I’m good with either SVU or Homicide-era Munch here.)

Oh my, just the mental image of these two together is seriously hot to contemplate. Something sexy with Methos helping Marcus explore and discover his sexuality? Marcus senses something is unusual about Methos, maybe even suspects he’s demon-possessed at first, before learning his real identity? And if he did find out, how would it affect his faith and view of the universe?

I can imagine some pretty intense sexual chemistry between these two, and also Tim struggling with the idea of immortality after he’s gone through exploring his spiritual beliefs. Perhaps Tim becomes Immortal and thinks he can’t cope with it, he’s still too plagued by guilt over killing Luke Ryland and can’t imagine taking part in the Game. Methos could be there for him to help him dealt with that guilt and move on…I just think they’d be fascinating together.
Henry Morgan (Forever TV) & Melinda Warner (Law & Order SVU)
What would happen if these two M.E.’s crossed paths on a case? Disagreeing over the findings on a body, perhaps? Maybe Henry suspects Adam might be involved in a killing and doesn’t want Melinda getting too close to the truth? I’d just love to see them having some smart arguments and eventually coming together to help solve a tricky case.
Lucifer (Lucifer TV) & Marcus Keane (The Exorcist)
What does Marcus Keane really want? How would he react to coming face-to-face with the devil, and he’s not at all who or what Marcus was expecting? What if a possessed individual is causing trouble at Lux/in LA and only an exorcist can help?
Lucifer (Lucifer TV)/Nick Amaro (Law & Order SVU)
Some serious smut would be lovely here, or a casefic of some kind set once Nick moves out to California. Maybe he’s working as a PI now and an investigation leads him to Lucifer/Lux?

My two favorite media devils…crossing paths in some interdimensional space between universes? Comparing notes, dishing on similar parental troubles, etc? I feel like there are similarities between how Hell supposedly works in these two universes, so it could be intriguing.

They’re both demon hunters, in their own way, and dealing with their own personal demons, too. I’d love to see them working together to bring down a demon - maybe one of the 113 escapees has teamed up with an integrated demon? (Or could an integrated demon possess an escaped soul, leading to even stronger combined powers of mayhem?)
John Reese (Person of Interest) & Ezekiel Stone (Brimstone)
Ezekiel Stone still has one last damned soul to send back to Hell…and it ends up being someone whose number has come up. Which is especially bewildering to Finch & Reese when that person is dead. Just one plot idea I have for them! I find the idea of these two together interesting as they’re both quiet, serious people hiding a lot of pain and emotion beneath the surface, looking for redemption in their own ways by helping people.
Nick Sax (Happy!)/George Huang (Law & Order SVU), Nick Sax (Happy!)/Olivia Benson (Law & Order SVU)
For either of these, I’d just love some kind of AU where Nick Sax actually is Elliot Stabler, gone dark after he leaves SVU. George or Olivia could be dark versions, too…or just having to deal with the shock of discovering what’s become of their former colleague.

What would happen if these two M.E.’s crossed paths on a case? Disagreeing over the findings on a body, perhaps? Maybe Henry suspects Adam might be involved in a killing and doesn’t want Melinda getting too close to the truth? I’d just love to see them having some smart arguments and eventually coming together to help solve a tricky case.

What does Marcus Keane really want? How would he react to coming face-to-face with the devil, and he’s not at all who or what Marcus was expecting? What if a possessed individual is causing trouble at Lux/in LA and only an exorcist can help?

Some serious smut would be lovely here, or a casefic of some kind set once Nick moves out to California. Maybe he’s working as a PI now and an investigation leads him to Lucifer/Lux?

My two favorite media devils…crossing paths in some interdimensional space between universes? Comparing notes, dishing on similar parental troubles, etc? I feel like there are similarities between how Hell supposedly works in these two universes, so it could be intriguing.
Marcus Keane (The Exorcist)/Ezekiel Stone (Brimstone)
They’re both demon hunters, in their own way, and dealing with their own personal demons, too. I’d love to see them working together to bring down a demon - maybe one of the 113 escapees has teamed up with an integrated demon? (Or could an integrated demon possess an escaped soul, leading to even stronger combined powers of mayhem?)
John Reese (Person of Interest) & Ezekiel Stone (Brimstone)
Ezekiel Stone still has one last damned soul to send back to Hell…and it ends up being someone whose number has come up. Which is especially bewildering to Finch & Reese when that person is dead. Just one plot idea I have for them! I find the idea of these two together interesting as they’re both quiet, serious people hiding a lot of pain and emotion beneath the surface, looking for redemption in their own ways by helping people.
Nick Sax (Happy!)/George Huang (Law & Order SVU), Nick Sax (Happy!)/Olivia Benson (Law & Order SVU)
For either of these, I’d just love some kind of AU where Nick Sax actually is Elliot Stabler, gone dark after he leaves SVU. George or Olivia could be dark versions, too…or just having to deal with the shock of discovering what’s become of their former colleague.
