Process of cutting. Weee.

I'm in the process of doing a friends cut. If I cut you, it's for one of the following reasons:

1. I don't read your journal.

As mean as that may sound, I don't read everyone's updates. I have over 100 friends, plus a lot of communities to read. Some of your journals simply don't interest me.

2. You don't show an interest in my life.

Honestly, if you comment or IM me or at least show any sign of life on MY LJ, this is not the reason you were cut.

3. You've done something to irritate me.

This could be something you've done to someone else, or me directly. I'm not in the mood to read obnoxious entries anymore. And yeah, I know we all have moments of stupidity and obnoxiousness, but I just can't take it anymore.

4. We don't talk whatsoever.

Ah yes. This one. This goes for a lot of you, actually. If you're from Altoona, and we don't talk on a regular basis? Chances are I cut you. A few of you I left because you do comment, and you show signs of life on LJ. But the Altoona people I just don't talk to, I cut. It's just LJ, it's not the end of the world. As for others, if we met because of a fandom, and we don't talk at all anymore, I probably cut you as well. It's not personal. Just, as I said, it'd just LJ.

Also, all of you are welcome to add my myspace of the same name (sidewayslove), whether I cut you or not. If any of you want to be added back, I need some good reasons why. It's just livejournal, like I said. If you love reading my entries that much, then fine, explain to me why I need to re-add you. But chances are, I probably won't. If you're not contributing anything to who I am or my LJ, I don't see the point. Some of my updates are public, after all. The important ones, anyway.

Disabling comments. IM me if you so desire on mymoophilosophy.

EDIT: There are a few of you I've thought long and hard about cutting off. Mostly because your updates annoy me and you've done something equally obnoxious to irritate me. However, I do care about you and you do show signs of life. Consider this a warning to you. If you start reading less and less updates, I'm probably filtering you out. Consider that your warning.
