When I woke up, there was a moment when I was frightened.
Not for myself.
(My! That would be quite ridiculous.)
But the Moon - the Moon moves away from the Earth an inch-and-a-half every year.

Is it possible that, um, though we aren't what we were, we are more ourselves without the, um, things that go with us? I was never a goddess or, um, anything as great as that but-

There are telescopes now. So even if the Moon is -less you can see her more clearly?
