Prompt 2. A dream worth keeping
Prompt 8. Watching you, watching me
Just because Prowl felt perpetual peace did not mean that he did not get excited. Whenever a friend arrived in the Well, he would look forward to the reunion with great anticipation. He was eager to convey that even though the newly-arrived spark left grieving friends behind, the Well was a place of wonder which truthfully could not be explained but simply had to be experienced. As he returned to the dojo after speaking with Primus, he couldn't help but feel almost giddy with excitement. Jazz's spark would soon arrive and Primus had graciously allowed for the soon-to-arrive spark to appear in one of the unoccupied rooms of the dojo, just as Prowl had after he had sacrificed himself for others.
Prowl's excitement was tempered slightly by the question of whether or not Jazz would still be interested in him after so much time had passed from the other's perspective. He had been assured by Optimus that Jazz always loved him deeply but simply had not had time to say so before the event which sent Prowl's spark to the Well.
Truthfully, despite many long conversations with Primus, he never really understood why they had not been allowed to be together. It seemed cruel to keep two lovers apart, separated by time and space, but despite not understanding the reason, he did know that Primus had a plan and he accepted that.
Out of respect for the newly-arrived spark and the initial confusion of being in the Well, Prowl decided to meditate in one corner of the training room of the dojo. He offlined his optics and began to hum softly, waiting for Jazz to arrive. Thousands of vorns in the well and being with Jazz was still a dream worth keeping.

Jazz onlined his optics. His training in the Elite Guard had him quickly looking around the room but all he saw was the berth he was on in a plain room. He had no idea how he had gotten there. He checked through his memory files and suddenly noticed that there were no messages on his HUD. Strangely enough, this didn't trouble him too much but he was curious about it. He always had some sort of message there even if it was pushed to the background.
He slowly sat up and resumed searching his memory files. He had been meditating and then he was suddenly here. Jazz frowned slightly. He could find no reason for the apparent memory gap. He briefly wondered if he had fallen into recharge but that wouldn't explain how he got here.
As he looked around the room searching for answers, he wondered why he wasn't more concerned about what had happened. He felt peaceful and relaxed; just as he always did after meditating. He thought about that for a moment. Meditation was one of the few techniques he could always fall back on to quiet the turmoil of losing…
In a flash of understanding, he knew where he was. In a very uncharacteristic manner, he pushed the door open and ran through the hall skidding to a stop in what appeared to be a training room in a dojo. He heard a soft hum off to one side and saw a black and gold mech meditating.
He watched in amazement as the fellow ninja onlined his optics and watched him in return.
"Prowl!"
"Jazz!"

Primus watched as two sparks began to circle one another. One had been in the Well for quite some time and he enjoyed the company of the quiet and thoughtful spark. The other had only just arrived and it was pure exuberance. He was looking forward to spending time with this one as he was sure it would bring some spice to the Well. He smiled, content for now to allow the two sparks to enjoy their reunion. He alone understood that if they had not been separated, Ratchet never would have repaired Arcee, Bulkhead would have suffered a slow and painful deactivation, and Optimus would never have become Magnus. It wasn't fair that Prowl and Jazz had to be separated in life but here in the Well, they could be together forever.
