[couture, MA] Critical Millinery Buffer Underfull Error?
My Pennsic hat, after approximately two decades of loyal service, fell apart. Decelles, Burlington Coat Factory, and Filene's Basement are all out of business. I have no idea what sort of hat I desire, save that it be fun and funky, yet versatile enough not to look too eccentric worn w/ a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers, and protect my (black!) hair from spontaneously combusting in weather like this and my face and neck from lobstrizing. And I need it, like, yesterday.
Where should I shop for a hat? What sort of hat should I be looking for?
ETA: A hat has been sourced! Finding myself with some unanticipated free time and passing through Downtown Crossing, I hit up Macy's, which turned out to be having a 40% off sale on hats. I picked the straw hat that most closely resembled what Indiana Jones, Morgan Calabrese, and Carmen Sandiego would wear if they had to buy a sun hat from Macy's. Never has my quality of life improved so sharply. Phew.
