I'm kinda excited about this storm. I know, you couldn't tell. Well, I have a feeling it's the last big winter storm of the season. It's really picked up. Supposed to snow all night. This storm has been insane so far. One minute it's snowing so hard I literally can't see across the street, blink and it stops. I guess a mile or two north of here it's a blizzard. A few weeks ago I might have mentioned something about not getting any snow and it being a mild winter. Well, there is supposed to be a -20 wind-chill again tonight. Still snowing at a steady clip! Been snowing hard now for over 24 hours! Taken a break from gaming. Started making stew. Opened a big bottle of wine. McCoy Tyner record playing. Made some egg salad earlier. This storm reminds me of the ones from when I was a kid. I'm a happy man tonight...

Now this is a winter storm! About a foot of snow on top of what fell a few days ago and it's still snowing! It's absolutely gorgeous out right now. Deep snow out there, and for the most part, untouched and unmelted. Nice steady snow coming down. Still coming down pretty heavy. I guess it's supposed to keep up like this most of the day.
