After a few hours of fucked up storms...now it's partly cloudy with some sun coming through... Oh, global warming, if you only existed... Still might rain before then end of the day. Supposed to rain on and off...for the next seven days.... Still tropical humid. Nearly unbearable.
So, was flipping around the channels the other night and saw PBS had rebooted Van der Valk. I got about ten minutes in and turned it off. It was some kind of modern action movie? Fucking horrible. I own the first two seasons of the original series from the 70s, because...of course I fucking do! Rewatched the first episode of the original between spurts of watching the Euros to get the taste out of my mouth from what I saw the other day. You don't fucking improve on 70's Barry Foster. You can't. Ask Hitchcock.
