Spent $600 on food and liquor at two stores. Then went to the garden center. By the time the car was returned I'd managed to get home in time for the second half of the Chelsea. They won. It's warm. Looks like rain. I'm looking forward to the last part of the Hemingway later. This documentary isn't as good as some of the other stuff Burns has done. I think it's down to the stock footage that runs in the background as you're getting factual information, or being read a passage. On another topic you could get a talking head or a video clip or still of the thing they happen to be talking about. You can't here, for most of this, and I think the documentary suffers for it. No so much that I don't like it, but enough to be annoying. Anyway...

Saturday night when I went to bed the trees were bare, with no leaves, and the world was brown and gray. When I woke up on Sunday morning the world was GREEN. Most of the trees had bloomed. It rained that night and I guess that was enough... Now everything is in bloom. Flowers all over, including some of the trees that do that. The world feels alive.

And I think I rolled my left ankle. It hurts. I don't remember doing anything, but it feels like I twisted it. Maybe I rolled it earring stuff up the stairs or something...?

Got some work inquires for May, which is promising. Just questions about availability, but that's ok. More than what I have been getting. Two clients asked about the week of May 10th. Finger's crossed...

I need a shower.
