HOME. This week has been VERY long, and very hard. But it's almost over! The gig this past week was one of the more difficult I've ever done. The design of the session was horrible, the crew was horrible, the fucking hotel was horrible. Anything that could be a pain in the ass, was. AND Chelsea got beat. One the upside, I now know I can walk through fire and come out the other side looking like John Steed.

Part of the gig was at a science museum, so I got to walk around after they'd closed. That was cool. Unfortunately, the place was kinda gross, and had mice and the staff, apart from one lady, were total dicks. The view was nice.

About all it had going for it. The rooms we had were on opposite sides of the campus, and getting 60 people from one side to the other...the whole week was a cluster. But it's over.

I was so exhausted today... I spent most of the day in bed. I was on a date earlier, but now I'm back working, doing my T&E and emails.

I also bought a record. Steve Albini soundtrack, with a Jay Ryan cover, limited to 666 copies. Yeah, I'm getting that.

I think I've decided to take the gig in Africa with UNICEF. It would be in May. So, that means I'm pretty much booked up through summer. Boston last week, San Antonio the week after next, Austin in April, maybe London and Nairobi in May, and Paris in June. Could be even more. Those are just the people who have reached out to me. I've got another old client, now under new management, asking about dates too. Who knows, until I'm actually there working, all of this is just blocked out dates on calendars. Africa gives me a bit of indigestion, but it'll be a good push outside my comfort zone. Plus, helping kids in Africa is kinda cool. I would need to get a bunch of shots though... I hate getting shots.

POSTSCRIPT: The system I use to input my expenses for the job I was on last week doesn't work. Go figure...

I'm going to bed.
