I haven't posted anything here in almost three years-the world and I have moved on, and it's time to turn the lights out. Since I don't think LJ will keep a record of my posts online forever, I just exported it.
Here's how (on a Mac):
• Download
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ljkit/• Open it, log in, use the history feature, click the big Download button. If it crashes the first time, try again-that worked for me.
• In the Finder, hit ⌘⇧G and go to ~/Library/Application Support/XJournal/
• Copy History.plist to wherever you want to keep it safe. It contains all your posts in XML. Maybe you'll actually even refer back to one of them someday.
