Dear God, don't waste your time on this movie - it's absolutely horrible.
I loved director Richard Kelly's first feature, "Donnie Darko," but here, he make an utterly unwatchable mess that rips off countless elements from his earlier success. The acting isn't particularly gruesome, but the dialogue is cheesy and overly dramatic. The cinematography is decent but too "look at me, I'm cool!" All in all, just a travesty.
Watched the movie twice, just to be sure. I needed a few viewings to get behind "Donnie Darko," but this movie was just as dumb the second time around.
