Calling in sick for work
... but I wasn't actually sick, my Internet connection was.
Lost signal sometime on Tuesday, so that scuttled my Tuesday night WoW date with the boys. Instead I actually got some work done - I know, shocking! Last night was a Toys for Tots happy hour hosted by an old high school and college friend of mine, and I think we'll be seeing more of him and his wife in the near future (he's a fellow Carolina grad and fan, which always helps as we get into ACC season). The it was back to the girlfriend's to watch one of her favorite movies, "Elf," which was actually pretty cute.
One note before I start catching up on everything I missed in the last few days: I've spent most of the day waiting for the Internet guy and watching a marathon of "Tru Calling," and it wasn't that bad of a show. And surprisingly, not as formulaic as I imagined.
