Pretty shitty news, especially when the lack of corporate underwriting is cited as the main reason why people are losing their jobs. Hopefully it doesn't crossover to my workplace (public television), because while I have some measure of job security (I work in a department that actually generates revenue, as opposed to spending money), I'm not so optimistic for some of my coworkers.
