The thing about being a cartoonist is . . .

Dear SickofdumBers, this is DYLVN, and this week was almost as slackoff as last week. Two more pages were done, bringing us to (although Eliote will have to confirm the numbers for me) 20.5% to issue one production. Also, during the week, our DeviantArt account was graced with several more pictures from the weapons photoshoot we had, so be sure to check those out. Actually, the thing that's been a blast for me is a piece I've been working on to be in the comic as an 'about the authors' page, because I'm changing styles. I'm doing a prtty largely detailed sort of full page crosshatching piece, like Edward Gorey, or something, and getting into it like I have been has given me a second wind for the regular comic page. It's great to be able to bounce back and forth between two separate ideas when you are trying to write, or draw, or whatever. So this piece is sort of spotting me in my time of crisis, when drawing these guys hasn't quite gotten to the instinctive patterns I can do sleeping, but is far past the boring repetitive monotonous stage. Anyway, I guess thats about all we have for this week. Mayhap a summation of the inbetween bits will surface in the next day or so. Oh, and in case I don't see you; good day, good evening and goodnight.

Can't leave without plugging the Website, our delicious Myspace page, and our Blog. Oh, and issue two ofPositive and Negative Space is now out, so pick up one wherevere they are and read the four pages of supersecret F&P located deep within it.

Have a Very Almost Day
